hwdoughty There are 10 rows of bricks in the patio between the bench and the grill. Based on stardard size 8" bricks, this would make the space approximately 7 feet wide. Using the perspective shown and dimensions of the grill, refrigerator, etc. I would guess the space is approximately 14 feet long.

hwdoughty You may well be right. I just looked at another photo of this area from a different perspective and it does look more like about 16' long from the front of the bench at the far end to the short wall on the far right. Add the space for the benches and it's more like 9' wide by 18' long.
