Is the chandelier placed in the center or closer to the entrance?

Generally people have their light fixture placed in the center of the foyer space. Although in this photo (it may just be the angle) the fixture appears to be closer to the door.

The chandelier is in the center. The photographer was simply off to the side when taking the photo so he could capture the wainscoting on the right wall.
