stone steps or wooden steps

reneerogersAugust 1, 2012
We are adding a flagstone patio to our backyard and are wondering if we should replace the wooden steps leading out of the screen porch to the patio with stone steps. Any advice?

Wood is more economical but require a bit more care and doesn't last as long as stone. On the positive side it feels a bit warmer and it's more flexible as far as design. If yo have photos of the current situation it will be more helpful to offer sound advice.
