What is on the other side??? Maybe a huge cut out pass through window ,or a couple of them...or how about putting some barn wood on that wall?

The other side of that wall is the bathroom. I'm also just renting the apartment, so I don't think I can swing the cut-outs, haha! I like the idea of barn/reclaimed wood on that wall. Do you think adding that darkness would make space feel even more cramped?

Hello. Might be nice to mirror the backsplash ... Then follow the same line down the opposite wall. The cabinets seem to have a very simple front so by adding the mirror it will help emphasize the simple lines Mirror can be taken off when you leave this apartment. Good luck!!

Love the sink. I'm afraid if you hang anything on the wall you'll be rubbing against it and knocking it off. Especially if there is more than one person working in the kitchen at a time. I would put a lamp on the counter between the sink and stove, and a piece of art or mirror between the cabinets. Then I would wallpaper or paint a tromp l'oeil piece on the wall.

I would find a mirror that is framed to look like a panel window. Then maybe some shutters to hang on either side. I also like the idea of stenciling a tromp l'oeil (fool the eye) outdoor scene. The mirror window would be easier.

From an organizer - keep your counter tops as clutter-free as possible - this is always a good start. Bring in a small green plant (lemon Cypress) or two the green will give it a pop of color. Color always draws the eye- Going inexpensive, IKEA has under cabinets lights that stick up and will brighten the space. Happy new home!

How about a wall mural of the outdoors on that wall or something really fun in wall decals I would not hang mirror it will only reflect cabinets not very inspiring. If you can I would paint the end wall some great colour pulled from the decals or mural

What brought me here was an internet search for narrow kitchen. I liked the shape, the clean line of the wall.
