Are you asking about the light output for the overall room from the chandelier? Assuming I understand the question I would say the output is not optimal. This is a guest suite that has a walk-in closet with ample light for seeing the clothes and separate bathroom with a lot of light output, so knowing that, I would say the light from the chandelier and sconces is minimal. I hope that helps.

It is only going to push light upwards and some light out from the bottom of the shade that bounces off the interior of the shade, maybe you can find some black shades that have a silver metallic interior that will help push light out of the fixture, otherwise you're probably not going to get much light.
