As with most homeowners, budget is limited. We will replace the applicances and paint the walls (I'm thinking of a terra cotta color), and granite design laminate countertops in a fairly dark pattern. I'm strongly considering the Black finish in appliances. My experience with white is that any plastic parts yellow with age (current frig is Amana 16 yrs old side by side and looks horrible.) This has happened to me the last two I've owned. Posts in discussions here have discouraged me from stainless due to scratching, denting, fingerprints. My concern is that the black will overwhelm in this kitchen. These photos are the before pics. Any comments will be appreciated.
