The floors are bamboo, and yes the homeowners are happy with them. We worked with a professional music studio designer, Bob Suffolk, on the acoustics of this room. The height, width and length of the room was designed for optimal acoustics.

The walls have acoustical batting of recycled cotton, and the custom made fabric ceiling treatment was also designed by Bob Suffolk. You can find photos of the installation here: http://www.suffolkhollowaydesign.com/VMS/

Thanks for the reply. I think I'm going with #2 cabin grade red oak floors. I have a nice wall slant design, now I'm looking into ceilings and doors. Thanks again. Be well.

What color did you select for the paint on the wall?

+1 on the wall color—which color did you go with for the paint?
