The roof on the house is black corrugated metal. On the boathouse (as seen in this photo), I chose red.

How are you? The red roll-up shade on the porch here. It's mounted on the outside of the porch, are the pull up strings visible upon close inspection? Thanks.

Hi Mmulcahy44. Yes, the pull rope is about and 1/2" round and is secured by cleats on the outside of each window. When the shade are down the are held taught by small toggle nautical snaps.

Can you tell me what you used to line the ceiling of the porch? Is it a PVC wainscoting, vinyl or real wood? I'm worried about the practicality of real wood but don't like the look of any PVC I've seen so far.
