exterior paint colors connect more with the rural setting

I'm in the process of changing the entry/deck/steps of 1982 somewhat farmhouse style house in a rural setting. My goal is soft but rich earthy tones and to "ground" the house with more dominant horizontal lines/broader base and more connection to the exterior. I am testing Benjamin Moore shiitake mushroom CSP-1040 with Etruscan AF-355 for front door. I'm in gold country (California hills), am adding corrugated metal apron/base around the porch (used in old miner's cabins) and cable rail with plumbing pipe posts. Also I've added broad concrete steps scored in the same pattern as the wide-plank new cedar porch. I'm stuck on colors, all help appreciated! 1st photo shows existing house paint colors (a nice green but a little on the minty side, not natural enough). Next photos are mocked up with shiitake mushroom. Maybe I'm on the wrong track with such a muddy neutral color?
