Hate the kitchen cabinets
September 15, 2012 in Design Dilemma
Moved into house with those awful melanine kitchen cabinet doors in bone. You know the ones with the wood strip along the bottom and top. How would it look if I replaced the doors with white doors but left the honey oak cabinets? We plan on doing the stairway in white and honey oak. That way it would all match, cause the stairway and kitchen aren't that far from each other. What do you think??

Treat your kitchen cabinets as a separate design element from the rest of the trim in your home. The stairs could match other trim elements. A good faux painter can make even the worst kitchen cabinets look great. Add some photos for more ideas.
