Steel "wrought iron" or aluminum?

Okay, I was curious because I know lots of countries make in iron which we do too but we usually use heavy duty aluminum to reduce the heavyness level and the rust maintenance problem with wrought iron especially for homes on the ocean and the salt water in the air issue. Creative door design by the way!

The iron goes through special process to prevent rust. The doors cannot slide due to heaviness, but the look is much better than aluminum (that is much thicker). those doors are 12 years old, no problems at all.

wow, 12 years old and no rust, that's awesome and a great job of finishing by the manufacture! I guess they either powder coat the finish or electro static the finish.
