What stone is it in the bathroom wall?

It looks like agate, but it is simply massive. I'm no expert on the topic by any means, but I wouldn't be surprised if this was a high end recreation to obtain the look that the home owner wanted.

Googled it a bit more for my own curiosity. It is agate, it is real, and it is insanely expensive! Good luck!

Oh, good Lord, that is just gorgeous! What a focal point to take your eye (and mind) off the toilet.

Much cheaper just to have an artist faux paint this on a wall ..and just as effective!

no way a faux painting on a wall could replace the depth of an agate...... or whatever this stone happens to be

The guy who asked the question assumed it was stone. The designer, PRO
DKOR Interiors Inc. says "We worked with artist Alex Turco. His company produces large scale wall panels."

Someone please clarify: is the wall stone or is it painted? The article mentions something about tiles with resin inlaid with pebbles. Did Alex Turcos use resin and pebbles or some other material to do the wall or did he paint it? A wall panel can be made of anything so this is a bit obscure.
