What can I plant on terraces constructed with sub soil?

Terraces 3 meters wide and 47 meters long with 4 meter slope down to next terrace. Slopes at 45 degree angle.

I'm assuming you'll amend or add topsoil, and it really depends on your location. We planted Rosemary officinalis 'Prostratus' and Acacia redolens as slope stabilizers in this project.
