Painting a radiator

First off, I would like to thank everyone for all of your help with my past questions, you are all such a great source of information and ideas! Thank you so much!
I am looking to paint my old cast iron radiators with steam heat. Ideally, I would love to be able to tint a "Rustoleum" type paint and match my cabinets, but was told that Rustoleum High Heat doesnt come in a white liquid form, and I wasnt thinking of spray painting them. I was then told that I can paint them with an ordinary latex matte finish paint. Any ideas? I am so afraid they will chip and flake with the changing temperatures.
Thank you in advance!!!
