The high ceilings add fantastic drama to your great taste and hard work! That is no fun - we have an 1842 addition (to an original 1790 home) that has plaster over brick separating closets (why??)...it makes you work for everything, but nice to have that sound structure behind all your work, right? Gorgeous room (and house).
