I need help figuring out what to do with the existing flower beds. I plan on taking everything out and starting over. I know shrubs or hedges would be a good, easy fix, but I don't want to use them if at all possible. I want color, low maintenance (of course) and something that will last most of the year (if possible). I thought lantana, but I'm worried it may get out of control and need a lot of pruning - and may not look quite right in a front flower bed. my previous house was a new build and I had a summer cottage house, but I've never had a house in this style so I'm unsure what would look best. thoughts? thanks!
