Hi,
I have a 4'x4' square laquer table for my breakfast area with the ghost chairs by kartell. What size and shape rug would go with the dimension of the furniture?

Rug should be 24-30 inches larger all around so chairs can pull out easily. Your table is 48 inches x 48 inches. Your rug should be 96 x 96 inches (8'x8') to 108 x 108 inches (9'x9').

Thank u for ur help! Would a round rug look good or does it have to be square? I'm in love with this one rug and they don't have square!

Go round - I love round rugs, especially in a space with all sharp angles - always looks better

I agree with Marie. A square rug would be predictable while a round rug would add interest.

An 8' round rug would be perfectly sized for the table and chairs. Go bold with the rug!

Yes, some contrast between the table and rug would be more interesting.

Sure, round rug is fine as long as you have similar dimensions.
