I agree with molliemartian. While attractive, this is a very undesirable place to store wine. Heat rises so upper cabinet storage of temperature sensitive wine is a bad idea. Throw in the heat generating fridge below that and you have a double dose of wine killing temps. No matter the storage issues, wine storage in this area is not a good idea.
