Are you talking about a type of bed that the head and/or foot of the bed can be raised like a hospital bed?

I have a fully electric adjustable bed, like at the hospital. The frame holds the hydraulics so that the mattress moves. Mine has metal plates welded on where a headboard could be bolted on.

I suggest you find a nice white headboard and attach it to the wall. No one but you will know it is separate. Use a bed skirt and no one should notice anything different at all.
