Wish they would have kept the hard wood floors.

I didn't like the wood floors for the family room/kitchen, with small kids, is easier cleaning up the travertine with a mop, but used the wood floors in other places in the home, like the entrance is travertine with a marble border, because of a step and in the downstairs guest room, I did wood. I also don't like carpet, I'm all about getting things done quickly and move on. I only have carpet in 3 of the 5rooms and stairs. I love my floors.
