We just put a wine cellar in our house and at the time, could not decide on the best style of door to put in. We saw this picture and fell in love. Looked for an old door to refurbish but they all needed so much work. Went to a door shop and found a pre-hung knotty alder 4 panel door to use. I hand painted the "water stains" and "distressing with 3 different shades of General Finishes water based stain. Topped off with a clear matte finish, I believe I got the same feel to ours as you did to yours. Thank you for the inspiration.
