For however wide the door is, you should have that much room in 360 degrees of the swing.

For example if this door shown is 48" wide, you should factor in 48" clear - 360 degrees around the entire door swing. Also make sure it is free of obstructions outside of the 48" diameter for people entering, waiting, standing outside of the door path of travel.

48" is the minimum we will use for a pivot door. You need 6-8" to clear the door, anything less will be a big inconvenience down the road. I dont think this one has enough clearance.
