what height did you place your shower pannel?

It all depends on what height the person using it is. As a rule I would recommend placing it so the highest body jet is pointed at the chest area of the smallest person who will be using. Otherwise there is a risk of water spray to the face area from the body jet, which isn't dangerous, just uncomfortable. http://usa.hudsonreed.com/shower-panels.html

The VIGO - VG08005 shower panel you are referring to was installed so the bottom edge of the shower head measures ten inches above the top of the human head in the shower. :) As Hudson mentioned, the goal is to create a comfortable shower experience for all shower users in the home. The horizontal jets can be turned off/on if the compromise between family members is necessary. For example, the top three jets can be turned off for a smaller person if the unit is installed to accommodate taller individuals. ( The bottom three jets can be controlled independently too)
Hope this helps! http://vigoindustries.com/product/shower_panel_system_with_rain_shower_head_vg08005#
