Need help for window treaments on a sliding glass door in the kitchen...
cjidenNovember 12, 2012
I have a sliding glass door in the kitchen which is right off the family room. The drapes in the family room are 100% polyester and raffia in color. They are more casual, warm and comfy. I am not sure if I want to go more shiny ( formal) drapes in the kitchen or stay in the cotton, comfy fabric for the kitchen. And what color? ( The swatch is of the fabric/color of the family room drapes)

I always think of the kitchen as a more casual place more in line with a family room than say a living room. I'd probably carry over the same window treatments, or at least the same vibe, if that makes sense.

If you have an open concept plan, I think I would do as Emily says.
