Need help to understand options for stabilize floating vanity cabinet
November 14, 2012 in Design Dilemma
My cabinets are 90" long and 25" deep. Tried to secure to wall but adding the granite makes it sag in the front. Looking for options, yet want to keep the floating effect - no legs. There are also lights mounted underneath. Any suggestions??

There are some builders on Houzz that can probably help. Would generally put some additonal framing in the wall to attach to and add stability. Supports would be built and tied into the wall framing. Also there can be supports built for underneath that could be covered with the cabinetry material.
