Size ratio of drum pendant light to table
November 14, 2012 in Design Dilemma
Hi all,
We have purchased a dining table from Restoration Hardware (17th century monastery) that is 60" x 38". We would like to buy a simple white fabric drum pendant to go with it. I am looking at one that has a 23" diameter (12" height). Does anyone feel this may be too large for the table? Or is it acceptable to have a slightly over sized drum pendant? Our ceilings are low - about 8'.
Thanks in advance,
Thank you for reporting this. Undo
i think if the height is 'short' like maybe 8-10 inches it might be better - can you fashion one and hang it over the table to stand back and look at it - give us a photo....i should have been a decorator, i could stay on her all day and look at other peoples houses.
