Need help selecting an upstairs hall ceiling light fixture

Our current fixture broke, and I ordered another fixture from Lighting Plus. My electrician said the fixture is poorly made, and I should look for a higher quality product. But I like the look of this one, and would love advice on a similar design. Our fixture is 13" in diameter.
