Help updating the living room
November 16, 2012 in Design Dilemma
We are moving into a new home and are updating the living room - which is open and gets a lot of light (see pics). The one thing I know is that I want a grey/neutral color palette, but am having trouble deciding on a couch color and fabric. My plan is to do 2 couches and a couple of accent chairs. Below is a link to the couch I have chosen. Thanks in advance for the ideas!

The room doesn't seem to have a focal point. Like your sofa selection but want to suggest you install a ventless fireplace and built-ins somewhere opposite all the windows. The camera lens is distorting the room, so I'm not sure where that should be, but you might want to do built-in bookcases and doored cabinets above and either side of the one French door at the end of the room. Then an alcohol or gel FP could go on the wall where the TV is in these pics.
