Help finding fabrics that "mismatch" but look good with this hair I have two of. I would like to bringing bigger modern prints and another color that could possibly be my accent color.

Nice fabric on chair. I would not use a print larger than this in the room. Pillows striped using some of the same colors in the "paisley" fabric and accents in the beautiful grayed-blue-green in the fabric or another color from the fabric. Cordless up down shades in a similar color to the wall paint. Sunroom Serenity

Several simple abstract arts painted by home owner on pre-stretched canvas, in colors that enhance room. Living Room console Carlyle Penthouse

A simple pattern for window panels and calming hues-(blue/green/gold/cream) art work... Pretty room. Good Luck!

A rich red soft pillow would make a bold contrast to the paisley chair. I envision the other chair slip- covered in a large scale tartan in the same palette as the first chair. A solid black sofa with a couple more solid red pillows would finish it off nicely. Windows covered in a neutral drape so as not to compete with the view. Don't try to colour match the art but choose or paint something at least 3' square yourself that will stand on its own. If privacy isn't an issue leave the windows bare.

PS. you have great posters in here (designers) and since your style is so clean; cord cover when you are done. If you don't like the cord socks they make, you can design your own. I first thought of a red/orange or green (your choice of brights) to go with that particular fabric. Great chair. Orange is warm but has lots more energy than green -- unless it is super bright.
