All of the masonry, including the pavers, was done by the homeowner on this one, so I don't know what it cost him. Our part, which included the remote-controlled electronic stainless steel burner system, gas line & installation was about $4500, but there are less expensive ways to create the gas firepit (without electronic ignition, remote control, etc.)

I'd guess you're looking at about $12,000 labor & materials for what you see in the photo - the pavers, the bench, the firepit.
