Upstairs has 1x4 t&G fir flooring. Wondering aout taking the cieling down, expose under side of upstairs flooring rafters? Fireplace is a major part of heat source, but looks lopsided or something. Paneling is tacked to sheet rock that just needs to be taped and textured. What do you think? Ideas greatfully excepted.....and yes the curtians gota go....
