Need help deciding on coffee table / side tables

What kind of coffee table and side tables would you use in this room? Wood? Metal? Glass? I've posted a few options below the room photos to help you see what I'm considering. I like the glass table so the rug shows through. Any other advice (I know - clean the windows!!) about window coverings, lamps, side tables on both sides (only about 20" on each side) or arched lamp on one side, table lamp on the other, etc. are much appreciated!! Thanks, Houzzers!

Room is about 12'5" wide and 133' to the counter.

To clarify, put one chair and an end table along the window wall. Turn the other chair 90 degrees so it is on the carpet but the back faces into the kitchen. The two chairs should be in an L with the table between. Be sure to leave enough walking space behind the chair on the kitchen side.

These look good! Watch out for oversized stuff that will swallow your room! Keep proportion in mind.

I think you should get a bookcase or cabinet for the TV. Put it in the corner on the right side of the archway. Move your sofa to the wall with the chairs. Place one chair in front of the windows and one on the kitchen side of the room. The chairs can probably share an end table and everyone can see TV.

Hi Dar - we thought about that but my husband isn't too keen on the look of a corner cabinet or watching TV at an angle. :-( I like it myself, though. One question though - you say one chair on the kitchen side of the room - not sure where you mean since there is an opening there an island bar. Do you mean like in the attached picture (note, that rug is in the dining now)?

The cafe curtains you used to have or matchstick Roman blinds or simple roller shades would work. I like the Glacier Coffee Table the best by far. Like the glass and chrome legs.

Hi Houssaon - yes, I do have sheers on tension rods in the apartment downstairs (the rental). I was thinking of pinched pleated curtains on each side. Too much you think? Do you have thoughts about chair/couch placement? I just measured and I'm not sure I can do the couch and corner TV cabinet without the couch being too far out toward the island bar. I do like the chairs better by the window though. Thank you!

I like the window woodwork and there is not much wall for pinch pleat drapery return.
