old vs more polished contemporary

cazubiaNovember 25, 2012
Living room walls are a taupe(more grey) color. I really like neutrals, like greys, brown, blacks, creams. I really love the style of pottery barn and ballard and designs, I like worn antique type pieces but also clean polished ones too. Having trouble deciding on what I can mix and match as far as my living and dining room furniture would go. Rustic wood vs. solid black or espresso..Any ideas??

Hi Cazubia, Do you have any photos of the current space with the furnishings to get an idea of what you are working with?
