The after shots are nice, but I agree with houssaon that those panelings would have worked as well with a different wall color and flooring.

Paneling was not as nice in person. Picture did them justice. Everyone who has seen them in person before and after has agreed that painting them was the best way to go. We love it. With the stained concrete floor, the lighter walls make it look so much brighter and larger and not as outdated.

Also, the walls are darker then what the picture shows. It's a toasted almond color with amber or Wheat Basket, I believe it's called, behind the shelving.
