Need Help With Hall Colour
November 27, 2012 in Design Dilemma
I've a smallish 2 bed seaside apt with a combined living room/kitchen; 2 beds; 2 baths and a utility room all leading off a narrow central hallway. Flooring throughout is dark walnut. I've painted the living room walls in Little Greene Paint Co's Bone China Blue Deep; one bed has white beadboard effect papered walls with a white and blue feature wall; the other bed has pale duck egg walls. The baths and utility room walls are plain white. I've now painted the hall in Bone China Blue Pale but whilst it's a beautiful colour on it's own I think there might now be too much blue in the overall colour scheme. What other colours might I use in the hall to achieve a more balance? What neutral would make a good transition between the blue and the duck egg whilst still giving a good contrast with the white rooms?
