We designed this ceiling detail with a double step drywall ceiling border using two layers of 1/2” drywall. This creates elegant shadow lines and defines the room. dSPACE Studio Ltd The first layer is 9 inches wide, and the second layer is 4.5" inches wide, measured from the outer edge of the crown molding.
