Limestone countertops in a bathroom"
December 7, 2012 in Design Dilemma
Is sealed limestone hard to care for as a bathroom counter? If properly sealed is it still prone to staining/etching from common house hold chemicals (toothpaste?, contact lens cleaner?, lipstick?)

Limestone is a porous stone. Sealer will definitely help to keep it clean. But make sure to seal it regularly (depends on how often you"ll be using it). We suggest 1-2 times a year. It is much easier to follow regular maintenance vs. "let it go" and spend more money and effort to refinish it later. Good luck!
