Need help with the kitchen floor
mlcastroDecember 12, 2012
I am planning on chanching the kitchen floor. Now it has light grey bright tiles. I would like to replace it with tiles imitating wood, but with the ligth wood of the furniture I cant decide the colour, and if it would be advisable to change the white counter too. Suggestions? Thank you!

is the room dark? Or is that just the photo making is seem so. Because if it is, a darker floor will bring the room down. I would put a red/cherry color down like kempas.

There are now wood plank looking floor tiles in white-gray colors that might help brighten the room up and still be the look you want!

Thank you for the comments. The kitchen in fact is very bright and sunny ( the photo is not very good). What about medium grey wood floor with new counters with matching grey? Or light brown wood floor with new glossy white counter?

I think that the darker gray toned wood plank flooring (or a darker walnut color) would look good with the cabinets, and you cant go wrong on white or gray countertops!
