Hi Coflake, thanks for your interest in our project. The counter material used in this project was Caesarstone's Blizzard. This is a man made quartz material. Very durable, never needs to sealed and comes with a life time warranty.

Thank you so much for your prompt response. It looks spectacular!! Do you feel that more designers will be choosing Caesarstone rather than granite for their countertops?

I do see an increase in the use of quartz material for kitchen applications. Although it is typically 20% more than your entry level granites the zero maintenance, warranty and increased color and pattern availability have led to it's gaining in popularity.
