Can you tell me about the stone floor?

It is a field stone selected from a local builders supply supplier. It has a lot of shadow from the pergola so is not quite as grey as it appears.

Hi, I was afraid you were going to answer the earlier question about the vine as being a wisteria. I am about to have a pergola installed with columns about the same size and attach a wisteria tree I have to it. It's about 4 feet tall. But I'm looking at the lower portion of your vine, they're so destructive. Couldn't you have trimmed the thicker part before it got that thick? Are you afraid that it might tear down the structure? Just curious. Did I neglect to say, this is a lovely space. Thank you.

When we remodeled this home we inherited the wisteria and it is since been re-sold so am unable to advise on the state of the column structure being affected by the vines. Thanks for your appreciation of the space.
