I am renovating my bath and would like to use the area that now has a sink and vanity as a dressing table. Right now it is 18 " deep and I am wondering if I could make it narrower but still have it function as a dressing table. Thank you

Good Morning and thank you for your questions.

The vanities that you see pictured here are 24" deep an the dressing table is just a couple inches shorter (22'deep) so that the vanity countertop could die into the flanking vanities. Generally speaking, dressing tables never to be that deep or wide as they are just a platform to lay down utensils used to apply makeup - which are smaller scale themselves.

Have a very Merry Christmas

Shane, thank you so much. I think based on what you are saying I am okay with less than that. Do you think 16 inches would be okay? all the best, Nancy

Good Morning and thank you for your questions.

Since the project is several years old - I can only recall by memory for you but I will try my best.

The vanity portion depth was just a couple inches shy of the sink top. I would say that it was 18" deep, which includes the overhang of the countertop. Yes, you could probably do 16" and still have a decent surface to apply make-up and do hair.

Have a great day!
