olldbobbi I like ash flooring too! Navy blue seems like a logical choice to me, if you have something navy in your closet, hold against the floor and see if they work together. An entire wall done in navy would be too dark, but you could do a lower half in navy and the upper in a light gray or even white.

1winter2 excellent, I was hoping for a touch of color-- navy is very sohisticated and not something I would have considered. Perhaps a wall paper with texture in navy could be nice-- humm unexpected. thanks

olldbobbi You can get paintable, textured wallpaper from Home Depot for $12.99/double roll. I've used it in two rooms, it fabulous, and I have plans to use it in a third room. You're welcome!
