Hooks! You can use some of the pull out rod hooks under the shelves, and use the hooks for hanging: backpacks, tote bags, reusable grocery bags, hats, jackets, hangers . . very useful.

Maybe in half the space to the right you can add one large cabinet and do a pull out ironing board. Then adding a drying rod to the left of it with hangers ! Of course adding hooks would be useful too . If you just want to add a rod and hooks, a cushion on the bench would be nice !

Find one of your photos you love and take it to costco and get a canvas print made to hang for wall art. Also, after the cabinets are loaded with your items it won't look like an empty space. I have a large laundry room in my home and it's my favorite room in my home, yours is gorgeous. A clock, plants, or above the cabinets you could consider some colorful vases, pitchers or large ginger jar. I would lay some cabinet paper on the tops of your cabinets so u can clean the dust off easier.
