TanCalGal I prefer white ceilings & trim. The soleil looks fine for walls.

houssaon Benjamin Moore features a room with the walls, trim and ceiling in Soleil. Yellow will look more intense in south and west facing rooms. Adding white in the trim and/or the ceiling will add a bit of freshness, but also intensify the yellow of the color.

If it were me, I would go for a color with less yellow in it, maybe Benjamin Moore 03 Bone White as seen in this space: craftsman teahouse.

Interiors International, Inc. Sure it will work but so would Black. It not going to fall off if that equates with "working". Seriously add a few varying colors or 1/2 and 1/4 tones of your chosen color this will ad dimension to the house.

decoenthusiaste Work from the color strip for Soleil, pullling it through the house. Use darker shades where you have lots of natural light and lighter shades in darker hallways, windowless baths, closets, etc.
