I would say to assess your kids toys first, how many they have, and the ages of your children. The most important part about kids storage is making it accessible for kids to want to organize too!

Clear toy drawers are easy for little hands, as are lined baskets and open shelving. For larger items, utilize toy boxes, and also purge toys regularly as kids grow so you don't have more to organize than necessary.
