Thank you. It was rolled by Curoco Metals in Richmond CA which is no longer in business. It was the thickest gauge available at the time, 22 gauge with 3 1/2" ridge to ridge spacing. It was galvanized. This photo was taken soon after installation, and so the metal is shinny with its protective oil finish. After several years, water from regular bathroom usage has meant that the areas with moisture (e.g. dripping hands) have an oxide finish as the zinc in the galvanizing process oxidized on contact with surface water.

does this surface ever rust? I am assuming it just dulls down from the oxidation...thanks Roberta

with minimal water which this 1/2 bath has, it just dulls down. No rust.

Is it steel? Or tin?

I noticed you mixed corrugated metal with wood on the outside of the house. Are ALL the walls in the powder room corrugated metal, or is one of them wood? Just curious.
