Hi, I'm just about to finish designing my kitchen and I want to do an overlay like you did for the two chairs. How far did you come out and what type of cut did you use? Is it a half moon?

Hello Anthony, This overhang is a arch. It starts approximately 7" at the sides and arc's out to about 15". There are steel flat bars embedded in the underlayment of plywood that support the overhang and the underside of the overhang is finished to match the cabinets. Hope this helps :) Patrice

Beautiful kitchen! What is the stainless steel door at the end of the peninsula?
