Cleaning stack stone in the shower.

I like the stack stone in the shower but how do you keep it clean and mildew free?

You can add a protective water repellent sealer over the stone to keep it clean and mildew free.

So in other words, you can't? All kinds of sealed and non-porous surfaces need to be cleaned. A room used to clean other things (like people) needs to be cleaned, especially when soap is used.

I have a similar stacked stone shower and it is a nightmare to clean. Our contractor sold us on it because it was beautiful... Before we used it. No matter how much I scrub it always seems filthy.
