the salt and pepper granite has been out of style forever in my opinion. but if you like it, then I'd go with it. I like granite, but I'm not of fan of the salt and pepper granite.

I have granite floors in my bathrooms since it is pretty impermeable. some people think granite is too cold in appearance. however, in my opinion, it is much better than other stones when it comes to flooring around the toilet.

In my shower I mixed honed limestone with polished granite since I did not want the floor of the shower to be slippery.

my counters, backsplash, and floor are out of the same granite, Labrador Antique. The walls and ceilings are limestone, Cream Europa. I used bands of the granite interspersed with the limestone to give the walls some character.
