I need advice as to what color kitchen table I should buy. Building a new home that is still under construction. I've attached a picture of the hardwood floors in the kitchen. The cabinets are also dark with a reddish tint. Our granite is very light. Any input is appreciated!!

what is your style? You could do black your could do cream or white.. You could do a light pecan. Style will have a lot to do with it. ;D

My initial thought was to do a black. I wasn't sure if that would be too dark. Was trying to stay away from glass. Theres tons of natural light in the room as well.

I just noticed the second pic with the fireplace. To balance the rooms, you could pick a similar color for the table.

Ha! I was trying to cut that fireplace out of the picture. It will be stained the same color as the floors.

With all the dark wood a light golden colored wood will really look great.

After I posted, I noticed that you had added the cabinetry. They are very warm rich colors with the floor. Lighter tones would work best but not too light. You can make it beautiful with a color that is reflective of the hues in the wood tones. Rich fabrics on your chairs will make an impact.
